Jopa's Story

I live in San Marcos La Laguna now. On Lake Atitlan in Guatemala until april 07. Here are some pictures of my walk last week before the steady rains came. I like to hang out on these rocks and take in all the magic. These yucca like plants are all over, word on the streets is that the spines make you very numbed out if you get pricked, I havent tried it yet. This is a nice view of Volcano San Pedro, with the village of San Pedro to the right Here is a nice view of the west side of the lake. San Pedro on the left. San Juan in the center. This is part of the stairway down to the lake from the house I lived in last year. More stairway. Looking back up at the stairway Great view of both volcanos! And another. The small hill you can see in the distance is where I lived here last year. My yard, from inside the house.
